During the current health crisis, we won't be able to bake any custom cookie. However you can still order our cookie decorating kits.
We only deliver on Friday, you just need to order before Tuesday evening.
We only deliver in some neighborhoods in San Francisco. If your neighborhood is not available on the check-out page, don’t hesitate to send us an email, we are flexible.
Ordering & Sample
How can I order my cookies?
You can order online on our website, or by sending us an email.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We make every order on demand to guarantee freshness and deliciousness. We make small batches and do not use preservatives. Each cookie is handmade, hand-cut, hand-decorated and carefully hand-packaged.
Please allow at least 3 business days between the day of your order and the day of delivery or pick-up.
Rush orders are possible. Please contact us if you would like to receive your cookies within less than 3 business days. Rush orders are subject to a minimum $25 rush fee (or 10% for orders above $250).
Can I get some sample before ordering?
We have 2 sample options available: Digital Proofs (free) and Tasting Samples ($10.00). Please contact us to inquire. The standard production times apply. We love baking samples and spread the yumminess of our Joli Cookies!
Ingredients
What ingredients do you use?
We try to source as many organic and natural ingredients from Californian suppliers as possible. The ingredients of each flavor are listed on the related product page.

Are there any nuts?
Please note that the following flavor DO HAVE nuts: almond.
Although the other flavors do not contain nuts, please keep in mind that the cookies are made in a Home Kitchen with equipment that may process tree nuts products.
What about gluten-free options?
At this time, we do not offer gluten-free cookies. They all contain wheat.
Is there any other allergens?
Our chocolate-raspberry cookies contain soy.
As we operate from a Home Kitchen, we use equipment and kitchen utensils that may also come in contact with other allergens such as milk, peanuts, fish and shellfish.
We take great care in ensuring the safety of our customers by providing a complete list of the ingredients on our website. However, if you have serious food allergies, please check with your doctor to see whether ordering our cookies is a safe option for you.
I'm a vegan, can I order your cookies?
We do not offer vegan options at the moment. All of our cookies contain eggs and dairy products.
Production & Shelf Life
Are your Joli Cookies handmade?
Our cookies are completely handmade, from the first steps of mixing the dough and icing, to baking, hand decorating and then wrapping each one individually.
How long will my cookies stay fresh?
Your cookies will stay fresh up to 4 weeks after you receive them if stored in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight.
We recommend storing them in our adorable signature tin.
Regarding our cookie decorating kit:
- Icing: up to 10 days from date of delivery if stored in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight.
- Cookies: up to 4 weeks from date of delivery if stored in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight.
- Sprinkles: up to 18 months from date of delivery if stored in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight.
What type of file do you need for printing?
PDF, PNG, EPS, PSD or high resolution JPG are all acceptable file types.
I would like to order some custom Joli Cookies but don't have a design ready to be printed. Can you help me?
We can definitely help you. After asking you some questions about what you already have in mind, the Joli Cookie Team will work on creating a design that would look perfect on top of your Joli Cookies, for a fee of $15/design.
Can I receive a digital proof?
Digital Proofs are free of charge. The estimated turnaround time is 24 hours.
Packaging
Are there other types of packaging available?
If you are looking for alternative options to our standard packagings please contact us. We are happy to work with you to find unique packaging solutions.
Delivery, Shipping, Pick-up
We deliver to San Francisco and the Bay Area ONLY. We deliver to your home, office or event's venue in all San Francisco neighborhoods for free!
Can I get my cookies if I live outside of San Francisco?
If you live within 40 miles of San Francisco, we can deliver your order for a fee of $2/mile from Joli Cookie's kitchen located in the friendly Richmond neighborhood. A separate invoice will be sent to you with the delivery fees.
We can also organize a pick up directly at our kitchen or if you work in the city, we would be happy to arrange a delivery to your office.

Can you ship the cookies?
Unfortunately not. As we operate from a private-home kitchen under a CFO license we are not allowed to ship our cookies.
CFO Permit
What is a CFO Permit?
In September 2012, The California Homemade Food Act (AB1616), also known as the Cottage Food Act, was signed into law. This new law became effective January, 1 2013. It allows individuals to prepare and/or package certain non-potentially hazardous foods (such as Joli Cookie delicacies) in private-home kitchens referred to as "Cottage Foods Operations" (CFOs).
